When registering, one way that people prove they are human here is to answer the question: "What is the brightest star in the solar system?". However, when I put the correct answer "Sol", it thought I was a computer. /c:

I had to put "sun" before it accepted me.

Not that this matters; I just thought I'd relate this story of registering here rather than the usual bland introductions that don't say very much anyway.

I ran into the same thing when the question was first changed to that. :) I remember it made me wonder for a minute whether it was a trick question!

I put sun immediately. I Googled Sol star. That's the first time I've ever seen that. I guess it makes since "Sol"+ ar=Solar, but I've always heard other star systems referred to the same way. All that being said, I think it was a trick question.
