    Hi guys,

Apparently, it only sends 1 update a day..

I am scouring to find a plugin that will enable you to receive auto-email on new thread creation.

only way I see around it for the moment is to have them all posted inside a thread instead of having their own section.

My sleepless dream comes to fruition? =)

I'd rather have a forum with the hits (easier to find for newer members) - i'm sure I can find a way to do it :)

    Thanks though.

it would take an extra step, but what if there were a sticky thread in the forum

    someone posts a new thread
they post to the sticky that there's a new thread. they just have to meet the 10 character requirement. with a note that it's just for notification purposes and not to have conversations in there.

    ??

Which plugin did you use? A quick check of vbulletin.org shows me one called Email Integration by Cyricx. It says you have to have the PHP IMAP functions installed, though, and it looks like it runs a cron job to actually process the mail.

I don't have a copy of the VBulletin software to test it and see if it actually does what you want, though.
