Be wary of hits posted by Heather l. Walters. She is cranky, inflexible, and not worker-friendly. $1.50 is nowhere near enough reward to have to deal with her. Maybe $1,500!
I have never had a problem with her. She has always answered my emails and been respectful and helpful. Maybe some of her hits don't pay as much as they should but I think she is a good requester.
Heather's a great requester, one of the best really. She makes mistakes sometimes, but she does her best to make things right if she does. I've done tons of her HITs and have always been paid.
Were you an asshole to her or something? Every time I've communicated with her she's nice and fixes the problem right away.
Yeah, I think you're alone in this bro. Her hits vary in how well they pay for the time, but if you do the lower paying ones you can qualify for the better paying ones. She also has an account on this forum and every time I've seen her speak or had to communicate with her she's been lovely.
I would also like to add a requester to this list: Serge Egelman. The link did not work and when I tried to resolve a rejection because of this link problem he was very condescending and flippant towards me. There are many other requesters who appreciate workers and understand that problems may arise in regards to their HITs. I do not think this requester is one of them.
@cradlemountain Thanks for the info...so sorry so many other workers seem intent on discounting your feelings and experiences.
Thanks for the info...I really do appreciate this thread and think it's very useful for workers. Sorry so many other workers seem intent on discounting your experiences. I'm sure what you say has some merit...Thanks again!
not at all, you lot are more than welcome to avoid her. it makes it easier for the rest of us who like making money.
I've done a lot of Heather hits the last year, made decent money and never had a problem. Everyone has an opinion. I would suggest using TO and try it yourself before making a judgement off this one thread.
Yes, but by continually discounting a person's experience it allows requesters to do what ever they want and not allow workers to have some power. By knowing that there is a forum where they (meaning requesters) will be held accountable, it makes sure that they don't abuse their power as requesters. If you know that Heather or whoever has been great for you, then continue to work for that requester. I just think it isn't fair to discount a person's experience--just start a pro-Heather thread instead of arguing with cradlemountian that he/she is wrong in his/her opinions. I wanted to validate cradlemountain's opinions, I wasn't necessarily forming an hard and fast opinion. Just saying let's support fellow workers, not discount them
