Hi there- I'm part of a research group. I have 2 language based HITs available, for those with an acceptance rate over 60% and based in the US. We're particularly interested in students and those who teach but this is not a requirement. In both HITs, due to various requirements imposed on us, I have to administer a short English test. This has led to bad reviews on TO, so I will post this here for reassurance: The English test is relatively quick, and involves completing some sentences. It's administered BEFORE the HIT starts. The test is marked automatically, and has some leeway for mistakes. If you pass, you will be taken to the HIT proper. If you fail the English test, the system will just instruct you to return the HIT instead. We will not reject you, or make you do the work if you fail. So there is no question of your acceptance rate being affected negatively. Note that good English speakers sometimes fail the test as they try to do it too quickly (which is sad, and I hate seeing it). Please check it carefully. All work is Approved in 24 hours or under (I have to sleep sometimes ). Usually much faster, within 1-2 hours. Due to this being my first post, the links will appear below. Thanks for reading, AberdeenCSD
Thanks! I thought you might like to know that you have a spelling error. In this phrase, you have " just keep practising" It should be practicing.
Not a spelling error as such - just differences between US and International English. Practice is the noun, and (to) practise is the verb. Unless you're in US English, where it's always Practice I will change it in the future. The weird thing is that in UK English the rule is the same for Licence - Licence is the noun and (to) License is the verb. But this time, in US English, it's always License.
