Ah yes American Girl doll. My daughter has 2. No not rich but Grandma seems to love giving her one for Xmas. 2 Dolls, pets, clothes, bed, even a closet or something. The fad lasted about 1 yr then it was over. Few hundred worth of crap now sits in the corner. I tried to tell Grandma 1 was enough and she would out grow them before the 2nd one would be given. Nah couldn't listen. 1st Xmas the first doll arrived and (see fat screaming man above) accured. By the next Xmas it was over but what to do lol she gave the doll anyway and for a whole hour of fun happened till it was side by side in the corner with the other.

Kids are expensive as hell. My 4 year old daughter wants some $100 pony toy and my 7 year old son wants a Wii U which is $300 without any extras or games. He's addicted to Mario, and that is the only system that the new Mario game will play on, so basically all together I'm going to pay about $360 for a Mario game. FML.

okay yeah my son wants the Wii U too but I talked him into a PS3 instead because he likes Sonic and Crash Bandicoot...we'll get the Wii U when the price goes down a little.

Kids are expensive, but teenagers are a whole different ballgame when it comes to expenses.

My son already has a PS3, 360, DSiXL, and a PSP. And I know after I get him the WiiU within a few months something new will come out. All I had growing up was a NES and a Sega. LOL

I didn't have any issues with it and it submitted it fine. Did you miss an attention question? There were a couple.

I think it depends on the kid. My 4 year old has already busted a tablet and she's working on busting an iPod touch now. The good thing is she can work a computer better than I can at a young age. The bad news is she gets pissed off and throws it across the room and CRASH. There goes hundreds of dollars. LOL

I had pong. On the TV. Played in monochrome. Therefore, I am old.

No exaggeration , my 15 yr old daughter not 1 but TWO! sugar gliders! I was liek umm wth is a sugarglider. so she has been pounding my brain with information for a week now trying to convince us to buy them. not just any 2 no no a special breeder and a special cage. Ya so how much can a couple rodents cost... $1000 on day 1 for animals, cage, vet, toys, and food. WTF!

same with the DS, he had a regular DS and was fine with it but then my mom bought him Mario 3D not realizing it required a 3DS and then there was another $200 for a new system...

I had Playstation, Nintendo Color, and Sega's unsuccessful version of the Playstation

I say hell no to animals. I'd rather buy worthless electronics than have something that I would end up having to clean up after. LOL

That sounds more like your kid needs to understand that money doesn't grow on trees. I wouldn't buy my kid anything for months if they did anything like that!
