That's weird. My email was hacked to and I only use it for Mturk. Luckily I got into Mturk and changed email and password before it went any further.

I just want to make sure I understand everything:

    (1) Can you or can you not log into Mechanical Turk and see your dashboard?
    (2) Can you or can you not log into Amazon Payments account?

The last time i logged into my account using auto log using the bookmark on my chrome
i saw my dashboard page and saw that my current balance of 150$ was then on 0.00$.In a state of worry i decided to re-login after signing out.But i was unable to sign in with my old address. It showed that such an email address doesnt exist on thier records

So i decided to check my mail box where i found two emails from Amazon. One that showed that my email address has been revisioned to a new one as per the request and second one that stated that my current balance has been transferred to gift certificate. Thus i came to know that i had been a victim of cyber attack.

Now when i make a query to Amazon I am unable to deal further with it coz they plainly say that nothing as such my details exist on their database and they r unable to process it.However they assured me that they have forwared this case to the mturk team and i shud recv a mail fron them regarding this in 24-48 hrs.Almost 36hrs has passed since then and no reply from mturk till now.

    Hope u r cleared now !!

    I think so.

It could be that they are having problems finding the Account that your email was linked to. If you had your Worker ID on file somewhere, or perhaps in an old screen grab on your computer, or maybe on an old check stub, it might speed up the process for them. Then you could say:

“My account with worker ID [fill it in] has been stolen and changed to contain a different email account.”

Recently? When was it hacked? I did not do a lot of HITS the last two days so I could look through for a new requester or something. Mine was hacked at around noon PST yesterday from IP 109.8.48.244 in France.

Thanks for sharing the IP, MadmCupcake. I've added that to my Comodo block list.
