I am at 88 percent. I need to bring up my percentage to 95. How long will this take to make happen? What hits do you suggest?

    This is very interesting.

I think the first place you should look for this info is in the last thread that you started to ask this same question, about 2 months ago. There were good answers there. It's puzzling that you don't remember them.

It's even more interesting that back then, you said your percentage was at 92. So if it keeps getting lower and lower, then you need to consider what it is that you're doing with the good advice that you already had gotten. Because you definitely need to modify your approach.

    Good luck!

Umm ok thanks. I had forgotten about that post. I was doing the Classify adimages hits thats what got me below. I had actually went above the 92 but at the time there was not much to do and my only option was the classify adimages. I do my work correctly and appropriately. I had asked how long it takes to get up to 95. Thank you for instead of helping me out you criticized me on my double post. Maybe I should reconsider returning to this forum again. Thank you though. Sometimes some hits do not apply to the present time you are asking. The only ones availbale for me are Oscar Smith and Tagasaurus for some reason do not work. I wish we could hide our past posts because its a slap in the face and a little rude to be lurking on someones post history. Thanks!

Be careful you flirting with disaster, with a rating that low you could be fired.

OK, I'll try again. I'll group the similar parts of your statement together so I can respond to them more effectively.

I figured you would surely not be posting again if you remembered your previous post. Since you got good answers the last time, it seemed helpful to point it out. Also, if you don't like any of your answers from the last time, then I also wanted the post pointed out, so other people will know that you don't want any of those answers now.

Usually, people try and avoid double posting, as a courtesy.

I think post history is really important, and I'm glad we don't hide it.

    That's unfortunate.

That's good, and I'm sorry it's not working out for you.

Fewer and fewer HITs apply to lower approval ratings like the one you have. Since you're starting to be in unknown territory for many posters here, I suggest that you do the legwork of going through the list of recommended HITs that you got last time and seeing which ones you are eligible for. Again, that's why citing you your old post was an attempt to help you, no matter how annoyed you are about it.

I know. I didn't answer because it's impossible to answer this. You didn't provide any information about what your numbers are, and also it's very difficult to say how fast you'll be able to do successful HITs or what your acceptance ratio will be going forward. All these affect how long it will take.

Most important, in about 2 months, you've gone from 92% to 88% when you already were trying to go up. So based on that history alone, the best that can be said is...well, it'll take you more than 2 months!

    Again, good luck.

I think NG gave you some pretty solid advice. As she stated already a lot of what is linked in your original post is still valid today. You need to crank out a lot of HIT's to gain ground on your number ASAP. Recently we have been hearing of Turkers getting the boot for low performing numbers.

Answer my question or get the hell off the forum. Don't come on here criticizing.

Thank you Naturegirl for your in-depth response. I will get working on it. Maybe I allowed it to slack off.

    You're welcome.

Every post in this thread was clearly meant to help you. Your approval rating is at a level that endangers your ability to stay in the MTurk system. Please recognize how serious this is, instead of spending time being rude to members who reasonably try and point that out to you.

I hate to say it but you better start working on Oscar Smith HITs and do as many as you can before they block you for low performance on Mturk. They don't play with low quality work. You should consider installing turkopticon also.

You have no place to be telling people that. Your questions were answered in a previous thread, and you have been linked to it. On top of that, we have given you some advice. It doesn't make sense for everyone to answer your questions a second time, when you can look through the thread you had previously made.

There was no criticizing whatsoever, merely a statement of the truth: people with low approval ratings have been banned by Amazon recently. If you want criticism, I can get started, but I won't.

Amazon is cleaning up by banning low performing workers and closing international accounts, or so I've read regarding the latter. I presume the HITs will pay more in the future as a result, but hey, what do I know?

    Uh oh...

    HITs Submitted 17455 —
    ... Approved 15174 86.9%
    ... Rejected 2281 13.1%

They better not ban me. 99.9% of those rejections came from Amazon's own HITs in 2005/2006. :(
