I recently got a account warning email for block from the requester "Gary H" But I have not worked for the requester so far and I don't have any rejections. I sent email to Mturk for the requester contact info. no proper response and I searched for Gary H in HIT's also I didnt get one. Could anyone tell me how to resolve this issue? I dont need any warning on my accounts unnecessarily. Let me know if anybody face the same issue or anyone have the requester contact info.
Even-though If you worked long back for that requester ... They will block you after one two months. One or Two blocks not at all a problem. Just erase the worries about blocking and start earning.
Yes really. Just send one or two emails to that requester... IF they are not responding, juts leave that..... Continue your work... DO high quality job......... Improve your approval rate.......
You may have completed some work for the requester in the past, and they changed their name. The block or warning was more than likely put in place to keep you from working on the hit again, specifically if the hit was a survey. Many survey requester put blocks in place in order to keep workers from completing the same survey twice. Dont worry about it. This is usually called a 'soft-block' by Amazon and they do not put any relevance into the block. Your account will not be suspended nor will it reflect on your record. You should be just fine. Hell, I think I have had about 20 to 30 of those kinds of messages over the past year from surveys. My approval rate is still 99.7% with over 25,000 hits submitted. So, dont worry, you will be just fine. Keep on Turking.

HITs Submitted 5879 — ... Approved 5864 99.7% ... Rejected 15 0.3% ... Pending 0 — these are my stats for this year. I have slowed down on turking for the year since I work a regular full-time job now. Thought I would post the numbers so you know that I am not full of shit. Take care all.
I am not sure how they update the stats. What I do know is the approval rate is included with all the hits that I have submitted since I started Turking. The 15 rejections happened early on in my Turking career when I did not know what I was doing. My approval rate has not changed for over a year so I really dont know how they calculate the numbers.
