I don't know if I think it's a problem...I think it's good to be interested in the election process, and I hope everyone voted today! But yes, the forums have been very quiet all day, so it seems clear that that's what's going on, at least for US Turkers.
For me its not the elections, its the fact that I am so surveyed out and I am not really in the mood to do any batch hits right now. I had a great day yesterday, I made $25 and all of that was from surveys. I am tired of answering questions about the candidates and other nonsense. Bet there's alot of others feeling the same way.
As of yesterday I've decided that my goal will be $5 per day. I stayed until 1am doing Oscar hits to get there. Not going to happen today.
I've just take a few weeks off of turking all together. It's been so relaxing I plan to start back up tomorrow. But now that election day is over (or at least the last polls will close in Alaska in two hours) I'm kind of relieved that I won't be doing so many surveys about the election. That got so tiring after a while. I wonder if there will be a new topic of interest for surveys to focus on now.
