Tax for Mturk earnings

    I read in Mturk FAQ's that "Amazon Mechanical Turk prompts you for tax information when you have reached a certain threshold in lifetime earnings".

    What is the threshold amount we have to earn?

    $600/yr

    But I think it's $600/yr *per requester*, and then you get a 1099 directly from the requester
