So I put in my SSN when it prompted me too after making a few bucks, it told me to wait a day or two to get it approved. But after a couple of days it says it was rejected. I made sure to put in the right SSN and I made sure my name and contact information was exactly the same as it was on my social security card. Has anyone else has this issue? Its kind of frustrating because now all my pending hits are getting approved and I have quite a bit but I cannot access it, also I cannot do new hits. Its been about a week now and I'm still getting this error message. "The tax information you provided is pending verification. During this time, you will not be able to accept additional HITs. Verification may take up to 5 business days. Once your information is verified, you may continue accepting HITs. Please see the FAQ for more details. If your tax information is already verified, please reset the cookies in your browser settings and sign in to your account again." I've emailed them and they say it was approved and to clear my cookies/chache. Ive done all of that with no luck still. They told me too email them back with what exactly is going on so I'm waiting for an email back. Has anyone else had this issue? Or is there a number I can call so I dont have too keep waiting for emails? Thanks in advance.
i have a problem with tax info too but iLive in pakistan so I don't know what the F*** it is, so is there any other way???
Depending on my browser, earlier this year, I got a notification that I can't work on anything until the SSN is verified. It had been verified for quite a while. I was ok on Fiirefox. I emailed Amazon and they said all was ok, deleted cookies on Chrome, no luck. Deleted Chrome and reinstalled it, and all is well. My phone still shows the error message, not sure how to fix that, but I don't turk on my phone.
This is not an issue with tax info alone. If you've signed into different devices/browsers at the same time, any changes, I repeat, ANY CHANGES made to the account using 1 device/browser will not reflect in the other devices/browsers until you sign-out and sign-in again. I think it's due to cache data that are saved in the various browsers. Even the password changes are not reflected until you re-login. I see in this an opportunity to get your account back if anyone has hacked into your account. Hope this helps somebody
