Hi all. I am new to mturk and have been here for about a week and a half now. I only have 86 cents as I am just starting out. Here is my problem- A week and a half ago when I first signed up that first night I did 18 hits. Here I am a week and a half later and only 2 of the 18 hits have been approved leaving me with 16 that are still pending approval. They are all from the same user/ requester. How long should it take for hits to be approved once completed? None of my hits have been rejected yet so I am not sure why they are taking so long to approve. I have been working on hits all these past few days from other requester's and they have approved just fine. So why is it that a week and a half later I have my first 18 hits done and only 2 have been approved? John
John, There is a set duration (Max of 30 days?) in which your hit will be auto-approved if not rejected. I wouldn't worry about it. I normally am not able to approve/reject the hits I post until 2 or 3 weeks later.
Yes, it's frustrating waiting for hits to be approved. Some requesters will approve within hours, others take days. Usually they are approved within a week or so in my experience, but some can take longer.
