Avast is -OK- , dont want to make it sound like it sucks. There is better though. I build computers and do a lot of torrenting so I only focus on the best I can get my hands on.

Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) is well known in the computer enthusiast circle as being one of the best and its free . Just thought I would share. Also it has zero issues with all things windows which is a bonus.

Only downfall is definitions are updated through your windows updater so you have to keep an eye on that while ducking ont he bloat like Bing lol.

    Classify This HITs up!!!

Remember these are Majority Rules! I've never had a rejection with them - but if your answers don't agree wit the majority you can get rejected and if enough of your HITs are rejected they will MASS reject your entire batch...

Read the directions, do the work and return anything ambiguous! Don't do more than you are comfortable with. 2MuchTurkin makes a killing on these!

My 10th day was on Monday, the status on my approved hits went to paid slowly though the afternoon and evening. By the next morning nearly everything approved was in my payment account. There still seems to be a lag of a day for some hits to go from approved to paid.

Don't know what's going on with that. They have a good TO and I believe I have done a survey for them before. There is a code at the end and everything. Sorry!

I guess opinions are like assholes...haha. I work in the IT field and would never ever use MSE by itself. I'm forced to use Trend on my machines at work because of the ease of management and reporting.

I'm behind a corporate firewall with some pretty robust monitoring and anti-virus software and it didn't flag anything. I wouldn't be too worried. I'm in the IT department, so I would have gotten an email about it if there was a serious issue.

You can get avast for Linux if you're interested. It's extremely light-weight has real-time scan and sandbox modes.

    http://www.avast.com/linux-home-edition

If you download it, be sure you disable the sounds.

IT world and Enthusiast world are so many worlds apart lol.
IT techs pay load sof money to go to school to learn the ins and outs of yesterdays tech and dieing tech. Very smart and great for a business where every comp int he place usually 4+ yrs old anyway lol
Enthusiasts pay load sof money for the bleeding edge and cant wait to break it from over tinkering. great for knowing what to buy today and fixing it.
in either case we are both broke and here we are lol
