I just did a $1.50 hit for this requester (Professor Sigal Barsade) (Emotional Intelligence Test) and there was no code for me to put into the code box on Mturk before I submit it. I wrote in the code box that there was no code and submitted it anyhow. Then I went over and politely messaged him and let him know there was no code and that I did complete the survey. Anything else I should do? I have NEVER missed a code before because I am really good about finding them on the survey and pasting them into the boxes so I am sure there was no code. Argh! Anyone have this problem with this requester? Thanks in advance!
First off, I want to say calm down. It happens more commonly than you think. Most of the time the survey requester understands and find their fault and pays you anyways. Just make sure it's not a jerk requester. Other than that you just have to wait. Don't worry you're going to get more surveys like that in the future just do the same thing you did with this one.
Yep, he paid me too! I wasn't quite as upset as I probably sounded. Really, I wasn't concerned about the money. I was more concerned about getting a rejection! LOL! Thanks for the advice!
