I heard that people often get personal work through email if he/she get caught in the eye of a particular requester and the particular job pays more than mturk. Does it really happen or a rumour?? Had any one got a chance?
It happens. I got an offer to write for a blog once but it seemed sketchy to me. Not that Amazon does anything to protect the workers, but I still feel safer using a platform to perform and turn in work. At least then I have some kind of proof if something goes wrong.
