mturk not taking new members and not paying out checks

    Alert one, alert one. mayday mayday. Mturk has stopped taking in new members and also stopped paying out checks for this month. maybe something is terribly wrong there. Somebody living near Amazon headquarters in US need to find out.

    By the way, I did receive an email from Amazon on July 21st confirming check mailer for the payout I requested on July 18th. Waiting for the check atm.

    Many mturk members have reported not receiving checks for over a month now and many of my friends were not able to register on mturk as a new member. Mturk kept saying them that their membership is under review.

    For: Amazon Mechanical Turk earnings

    July 19th Mail Received

    July 25 Cheque received.

    So where is d question for not paying cheques in this month. Please do not scare other turkers. Already most of them rely on mturk.

    Unless and until one has any substantial proofs they should not be fanning out such news based on few peoples experience and rumor mills.

    I can definitively refute the rumor of Mturk not paying out. I had a certain amount transferred to my bank account only a few days ago. These ridiculous rumors need to stop.

    I just requested a transfer and it appears everything went through as it normally does.

    What was your withdrawal amount. There is a case in which mturk is delaying paying out bigger amount checks.

    I just withdrew $68 on Sunday and it has already been deposited in my bank account today (Monday).
