Anyone experiencing this as well? It's been about 3 days. Have hundreds of HITs approved, but they're still pending payment. They're from several requesters. I'm not new to Mturk, so I know it's not the 10 day holding period.

Have you passed the $500 threshold this month? There is a certain threshold that you can only be paid up to $500 per month until other requirements are met. I am not sure what they are but I will post when I find them. I do know that this stopped my approved payments when I first started making real money on mturk. If this is the case, then no need to worry as the hits will approve as soon as the month turns to August. If you plan on making more then the limit on a regular basis though I would look into meeting the requirements for getting unlimited payments. I think it has something to do with having your checking account verified or something along those lines. Like I said before, I will post the requirements when I find them but I hope this helps put your mind to ease a little until then.

I believe I have passed $500 this month, but I do have my checking account verified though. I wasn't aware of said limit xD.

Seems like you had this problem a few months ago, too.

Yea, but back then I was new to mechanical turk, so it was the 10 day hold period.

I just checked and I definitely earned more than $500 this month, so that could be what caused it. Anybody know how I get rid of the $500 limit?

Okay, I looked into it more. You have to have a bank account and a credit card registered in order to raise your monthly withdraw allowance to over $500 per month. I have both and now I my account is unlimited so you may want to do this if you are making more then the allotted $500 on a regular basis.

How do I register a credit card?

    ---edit---

Just figured out how to add it. Thanks a lot for the info. I appreciate it! Was unaware of said limit.

I appreciate it too. Never heard of this limit before, although I didn't start making more than $500/month until well after I had established my bank account & CC. Helpful info for new Turkers.

I'll hit 500 before long, will the cards linked with my regular Amazon account work?

I've never had to worry about it... never came anywhere close to $500 in a month. This is going to be my best month ever, and it's looking like I'm going to be right around $300 by the end of the month.

But hey, I'll take that for a part-time income to supplement my actual job. If I could do that on a monthly basis it's like getting a $3600 salary raise.

Good for you! I remember the month this finally happened to me. I think I had been turking for at least 5 or 6 months beforehand and running into this issue was a total shock. It was such a pain to find an answer, too as Amazon support could barley even verify if they were sending me emails and it always took them a day to respond to all of my inquiries. But it's all worked out now.

As far as I know, all Amazon related accounts are linked. You might want to check your Amazon Payments account just to be sure, but if they aren't you should be able to add them easily.
