Some Changes to Turkopticon website. If you have gone to the TO website you have noticed that you will now have to verify your email address to post. There is a new color on TO, yellow. 1's and 2's are still red, 3 is yellow, and 4's and 5's are green. This is on the website only. It should be implemented by the end of the week in the popup. It was wrong to have requesters with as low as a 2.01 showing up as green. So if you have not already verified your email w/TO, you will have to do so. Also the pop up will display the violation of TOS by the end of the week. So you may see a green requester eventually who does not follow Amazons rules, be aware of this. If they are obvious scammers the moderators and admin will remove any positive rankings from those, but requesters like elaine and others will start showing green.
Thank you and the others working on this for your hard work. I've seen the changes, and I love them. They are extremely helpful, especially the violator tags.
Great thanks for all the hard work! What does the TOS violator tag look like? I've been trying to find it, but I'm not seeing it for any requester that I'm checking. Would it be possible to link to one?
It is not me doing the work, I am just a moderator. It is the admin of TO that are doing all the hard work. Really one person in particular, but I do not want to mention their name. The popup does not display TOS violations currently. It will soon, to see the TOS message, you have to go to the turkopticon website. This is a requester who started violating TOS recently. http://turkopticon.differenceengines.com/A3576P68MF4BCH It is clear that they are not following Amazons rules and appears to be dishonest.
Turkopticon is no longer working for me. I use chrome and it is installed and enabled. It appears that Google has made some new requirements regarding extensions. But since I have a couple of other mturk scripts that have not been affected, I don't think that is the issue. Are any other chrome users having issues with this script?
This may not be a good idea. You may not be able to re-install. Google wants all extensions to be DLed though them. I don't know if there's a way to opt out of this new policy.
