Hello everyone, I'm from the Philippines and I'm glad to be part of this group. I've been with Mturk since May 2012 and am having fun so far. Anyway, I'm super duper happy right now because of the ten-dollar HIT I worked on yesterday that was approved within a few hours. It was the biggest pay I've ever received from a requester and the work wasn't that hard. Woohoo! Btw, the requester's name is Ryan Patrick Moser and his HIT was about trivia for diplomats. Try it, though I'm not sure if the HIT is still available. See you guys around

Welcome writermom from an aspiring writer! Congrats on the payday. I love when requesters pay a fair wage. There are quite a few writing requesters on mturk, and I wish you luck with all of them. Happy turking!
Thanks Andy and Grimtock! Grimtock, yes, I enjoyed doing the HIT. I think I got lucky with that one too because according to Whimsy, the requester doesn't usually pay and approve fast.
Welcome! I also did that HIT and it took him a couple days to approve and pay which made me sweat a little since I had also read the mixed reviews. I just figured the $10 for a really interesting HIT was too good to pass up.
