You have to visit three links and get the company name from the page. 0.02 a HIT.

I haven't accepted any of these but have clicked a few of the links and many of them do not look straightforward and would take a little research.

In my opinion, there should be one link to do on each HIT. 2c is not enough for all the research a HIT might need.

Thts the real problem with the CrowdFlower ...they make u do more work for a lesser pay and tht HIT is a real example of tht....Also most HIts are limited to a count on our submission.I did 2 of the abuv mentioned task....got fed up and stopped...

The +ve part of CrowdFlower HIT is tht they have an accuracy measuring teknik with their test questions in between below whch if we go we wudnt b able to continue with tht particular task.So tht ensures us tht our work so far done will never be rejected.

Had the hit been 0.05$ worth we cud have may be given a it a long try...Elze not worth the time...

    Welcome to mturk .__.

There are a number of too-time-consuming one- and two-penny HITs out there from various requesters. Two words: avoid them.

I've seen two different types of hits from readabl. One asks you to find contact information for a given company, the other just asks you to name the company whose mail is pictured.

Finding the contact information requires a lot of work for th 5 cents they pay, so I avoid those ones. The ones where you just have to name the company though are very fast and simple, especially since usually after you type a few letters of the company's name it auto-completes it. I think it should be 2 cents instead of 1, but it's not too bad.

At least you dont have to rotate the Readabl anymore. Those are the ones I try to grab myself.. easy to do on the iPad. Warning though you cant do the business card ones in Safari - I have yet to try Chrome yet as its just new on the iPad/iPhone

I don't like the Readabl ones but haven't tried (or found) those other ones that are easier, will keep an eye out for those.

Yeah I enjoy the 1 cent ones when there is nothing better out there, but I tried one of the 5 cent HITS and it took me 10 minutes...

Another total waste of time from Crowdflower. Watch three movie clips and vote for the one that conveys the most positive emotion.

    1) Emotion is highly subjective, there should be no right or wrong answer

    2) On my first hit, after submission it said I had 0.0% correct because ONE of the THREE answers didn't match what other people have voted.

Surely, one wrong out of three would be a score of 66.6% correct?

Very very close to putting these numpties on permanent ignore.

They don’t have predetermined answers for every question they ask you. You missed the gold answer that they were looking for. Instead of going 2-for-3, in actuality you went 0-for-1 for a percentage of 0.00.
