I remember turking bear and a whole bunch of other strange parody accounts. Did mturk itself become less profitable?

 

That's kinda sad. I remember the community being hardcore but friendly.

 

There was a Great Change maybe a year and a half ago related to the Forum crashing for 3 days. Many left and went to Discord. Also Turking changed to some kind of Masters preferred system, much less batches, etc.

 

We are still friendly there are just fewer of us. But I sort of like it that way.
