Nothing against you guys. Realistically the main factors that determine how much you make on Mturk are the amount of time you put in and where you are located. That being said, I'm still looking for people that make over $20 a day on Mturk. I know Melissa does by doing Transcription HITs and Playa by doing risky HITs, anyone else?
Don't mean to hijack your thread, but for the ones making over $20 a day, how many hours do you spend on average and where are you located?
Good question. I work all day mostly, but much of that is "on call". I work full time in the US. This isn't possible for most people, but I live in a bad area in a rundown neighborhood and have cheap rent. I'm looking to find other people that spend significant amounts of time on Mturk making decent money to network with. PM me if this resembles you. And for those that do Mturk part time or live in a country that doesn't get many hits, good luck, I wish you the best.
I make a little when I don't try. When I try and put in a solid 4 hours, I make 12-15. My goal is 20 a day. I live in the middle of no where and if I want more than child support for the month, I gotta turk.
I like your quote. I remember that from a Simpsons Halloween episode. That was maybe 5 years ago though lol, probably not where you remember it from. I haven't watched a single episode since then. The only cartoon I've watched recently is Bob's Burgers which is pretty good.

I would love to see $10-$20 a day but with a ratio of 90.6% i cant do a lot of the ones that want 95 - any suggestions on how to increase wat I can do to earn an $5-$15 a day? I just want it for extra cash - I can maybe do 1-2 hours a day as I work full time here in the US
I bet u shud do some hard job like doing massive hits of those tht are never rejected particularly Oscar Smith ...Increase your HIT submit count and thereby bring your approval rate near to 99..So tht more and more high paying HITS are available to you and u cud earn more
Scott, you should focus on easy, quick hits to get that approval rating up. 90.6 is lower than most requestors want. Since your rating is a little low right now, I wouldn't take any risky HITs. I'm generally don't see much value in the Oscar Smith hits that so many people like, but this situation is one exception. What I would suggest is doing as much of his HITs as you can, because they are pretty much guaranteed to be approved. It might take a little while, but I would do as many of them as you can to help boost your rating. Once your rating is up, then it should open up more HITs for you. Just be careful about which ones you do... if you're going to do a mass of HITs for a requestor, I suggest doing a small number first until you get them approved... at that point you can start doing a bunch more.
