This hit pays out $1.00. You had to click on the image read an article and make sure you click on the image within the article. You got a five minute time limit. I wasn't even at three minutes and all of a sudden as I was reading through the article, it said the hit had expired. Weird. Has that happened to anyone else before? Or perhaps this is a faulty hit??
may be a faulty timer kinda error Its was once tht one of my responses went up bank to to the requester when i actually had filled it in.Later i knew from the requester tht it was an internal error on mturks part May be u could send a support ticket to the mturk team to know more of what happened there
A problem can sometime arise with HIT expiration times; it has happened to me in the past. The HITs would already have several minutes of time elapsed when I first accepted them; my timer was not starting at zero. I want to say it involved clearing cookies, but my memory is not 100% on that. An email to mTurk should get you a prompt answer.
Yeah it happened to me! The timer went down to 0:00. There simply was not enough time for this HIT. Mine was rejected, stating that "Data was not confirmed for this task". I had a bad feeling about this HIT after I started it. I wish I had returned it.
Check turkopticon everyone whos done his hit has been Rejected for that same reason.. I made the mistake of doing a 2nd one of his ( under a totaly differnt name ) and it was rejected as well.. The guys a scammer imho and i wont touch his hits or any hit that resembles that again.
Anyone wanting you to click on a link/image/banner is violating TOS.You are redirected to some stupid page and the requester gets commission for the ad click. Obviously, he doesn't intend to pay anyone.
It happend for me to i mailed Mturk but they said you crossed time limit provided by the requestor.. the next the problem was fixed for me.
