As you may know I am new on mTurk. This is my second Week's Earning report: The following is a summary of activity for your Mechanical Turk account for the week ending May 19, 2012. Your HIT activity for this week: - Number of HITs submitted: 169 Approvals and payments that occurred this week: - Number of HITs approved: 171 - Number of HITs rejected: 19 - Bonus reward earned: $0.05 - HIT reward earned: $9.09 - Total Amount earned this week: $9.14 Is it good or bad as per as new member. I know Rejection rate is high cause of "Quality Website Reviews" HIT! Which I am not gonna do Again! Anyway, am I doing good? Any suggestions regarding what should I look forward to will be very much appreciated.
Hi,,, As a new turker you are doing good... USE turk opticon to check the reviews about the requesters. So that you can avoid rejections...
Good job, don't try to increase your earnings, because you are new, just do the task perfect, with the help of Turk option as Nadiya told, if so day by day you'll increase your earnings as well.

@arindam4u Yes, you are doing great as a new turker. Hope you using Turkopticon well. Also sorry to hear that you were the victim of Quality Website Reviews and you got 19 rejections if I am right. Please do improve your approval rating and go and find good paying HITs. Good Luck!
Yes! unfortunately my 19 rejections are all from "Quality Website Reviews". Also, my 23 or so HITs are approved by them quickly. I am working for "Oscar Smith" and "CrowdFlower" by now as they approve all of my works and I am pretty confident with their works. But in case of "CrowdFlower", I found those works are so much time consuming than their rates. Also some of the well paid HITs are not available for Indian users
Yes you are right bro. For the case of Crowdflower : They are the good paying and also bad paying for me. As they sometimes will ask you to find 8 emails in a HIT by putting 4 questions per page. (So 2 pages) and will pay only 0.01. For that case me consider them as the worst requester. Also they got a bad evaluation techniques, sometimes they will mark our test answer as incorrect and so our quality score goes down , I mean the accuracy % showing there. Then after going below a rate will make us no hope to touch that type of HIT anymore. So I am in the research to find some good paying HITs from crowdflower(CF formerly known as Dolores Labs) as the CF are using a 24hr auto approval method. Once Nadiya Turker showed me a good hit from CF that we will have to categorize 5 business and that too only with one page and paying a good as per my view $0.15. For the case of Oscar, He is the most wanted requester if some newbie found his HIT for the first time and also some people here. He set his HIT in an half hour auto approval so there is no question of rejection.
