I deposited my check on 20th april in AXIS bank. Am having account in it. And the money is credited to my account today. The bank has taken one week to process my check.
what was the procedure ? Did u submit the cheque to an officer there ? Or put the cheque along with deposit slip into the drop box ?
I have couple of query, I don't have PAN card,only have voter ID card,but the address in the card is different from where I presently live.Should the address in the voter card and the address where cheques to be delivered have to be the same?or will have to put address in the time of withdrawing? Another is which postal service generally they use? Ordinary Indian post? Speed Post? or some other courier service?like blue dart or something like that?
The address for the cheque need not be the same as the one on your verification form and they send it thru ordinary post...not courier or speed post...Thank you
I just filled the slip and pinned it with check and dropped it in the check box. The money credited to my account in a week.
You are actually paying more. IF you withdraw $300, you end up paying $30. Whereas I would pay $4 and consider another $5 due to exchange rate differences. But then, you don't have to go through the agony of waiting for your money.
As per case I will give the things in detail. Mar 14 : I requested my 3rd cheque Mar 15 : Got a confirmation email from Mturk Team telling me about the conversion in INR. Mar 19 : It is given as the Cheque Issued Date. Mar 26 : I got my cheque by ordinary mail. Mar 27 : I put it in my SBI bank account for collection (banker told that it will take 1 week for collection) Mar 30 : The amount is in my account
For me : 1st check : I requested check on : Apr 9th Got conformation on : 12th apr Received my check on : 18th Apr Deposited the check on bank : 20th Apr Received money on my account : 27th Apr. 2 Nd check : Request check on : 16th Apr Got Conformation mail : 19th Apr Received my check on : 1st may Deposited on bank : 1st may. Waiting for the money to be in my account..
Munawer Bro, You will have to go and inquire about your cheque and why delay in the deposits. Go to that bank and ask that.
But the offical ther had told me it would take almost 2 weeks if its a cheque of different bank..and also its given on the bank rules & Guideline..So will wait tile tuesday when it happens to be 2weeks
