Hey everyone, I've been lurking here for a little while now. Started turking around September of this year and took a hiatus until recently now that I am home from college on break. Quick question regarding CrowdSurf's qualification test; it looks like I only scored a 60 when it says a 90 is required on his test in order to do the transcription hits of his. It looks like I took the test a while ago and now I'm a little more inclined to be doing these hits. Apparently his qualification test cannot be taken again, does this mean I will never be able to do any CrowdSurf transcription hits? Is there anything I can do? Cheers, Matt
Sure. As with every requester, you can try contacting them directly. Just find the link to do so in one of their HITs, as listed on the initial search results screen in MTurk. (In other words, don't go into the HIT, just "show all details" on your search results to see the full overview for that HIT. The link you want is in the bottom right-hand corner.) If contacting them directly gets you nowhere, though, I think you'll be out of options. So I hope that works for you!
