    Yeah, I meant Amazon's actual calculation. The daily projected earnings script has some... let us say peculiar quirks.

    In other news, I had my best day so far... 25 bucks with 5 dollars' worth of hits still pending. Given that I just turk during downtime at work...

    This was BS. Here is my email to the Requester:
    Placing the attention check below the question and answer radio is beyond the pale (you can't uncheck the answer). You are getting the opposite result. People who scan the survey will catch it in time, those focusing (as I was) will not get it until they move down to the next question.

    I returned the HIT because I did not want to risk a rejection. Thanks for wasting my time (I have 3,000 accepted HITs and a 99.5% acceptance rate).

    This reminds me of a time when there was a survey that was only 2 minutes long. Yes 2 minutes! As I was typing in the answer, the survey timed out! I was like wtf!!?? At the time I accepted the HIT I didn't realize it was only 2 minutes but nevertheless 2 minutes to type an answer was outrageous. I emailed the requester of my complaint on that. Of course I didn't hear from him. lol.

    Today is very unusual with high percentage of today's HITS that are pending approval. Probably because it's Friday and all the requesters have started their weekends. :)

    Has the Jason guy approved any more of the HITs for any of you? I am still waiting for him to approve the first small batch I did.

    I saw his hits and was very tempted to work on them, but he has an awful TO. The only reviews were from 2010, but it still scares me to try them because the reviews mentioned mass rejections with no explanation.

    Has anyone done his hits yet and had any luck with him?

    so far i only have the hits from the first batch that didn't have the breakfast category approved. and one rejected where i guess i only picked an aisle and not a category.

    Even worse I caught it and left it blank but the survey would not let me move on to the next page unless you answer ever question. It's not possible.

    That's the problem, even 1 rejection is bad and these have a huge potential to destroy someones Turking ability. I did a couple dozen but am stopping now. The pay isn't that great anyway.
