AM not even sure which requester it is for. I am confused!! lol
If it's a master qualification, the only use you'll get out of it is that you'll no longer have to deal with any captcha speed bumps. I've got one of the 'master' thingies, and that's all it's ever done for me. Hits that require the MQ I've got always seem to be pay even less than regular ones.
Before I had the qual, I used to get one of those damned things every several hits, and they were a real pain in the ass. After the qual, no captchas, ever. But for all I know, they've done away with them for everybody now. Do you guys get them?
Categorization masters and photo masters eliminate captchas from your account. Twitter categorization is NOT an Amazon-appointed qualification, it is for a specific requester and will not get rid of captchas for you. Thank you and good night.
Amazon Requester hits are the ones that hand out the master's qualifications. I know they sometimes post batches of the hits you need to do to qualify for the categorization MQ on Tuesday mornings, but I really don't know anything more, like how many of the hits you need to do before you're qualified. My MQ is the photo master one. It's so useless for everything but captcha evasion that I never tried to get another.
I actually have the categorization masters and have had it since it was in the testing phase. Most of the HITS I do are for Amazon Requester INC. While I don't know how they hand out the masters qualifications I do know that the HITS that the post on Tuesdays are just to get people qualified for their regular Amazon Requester Inc-Browse Classification HITS. You have to have a score of 85 or better to work on those HITS. They have special HITS they post for masters which are different from these HITS.
They both pay six cents per HIT but I have NEVER had a rejection from them and I can do around 6-8 per minute. They usually have lots of different HITS up during the week. The masters ones used to pay $.12 per hit but it recently went down to the $.06 like the regular qualification ones.
Amazon Requester INC pays very well.. they are normally pretty easy. I definitely recommend them.. I spend most of my time doing their hits and have never received a rejection.
Nobody knows why the Master's qual is given. Some of us believe there is a "secret recipe," not just one certain action that warrants it. It's generally understood that the Amazon Requester HITs are a part of it, but not the only ingredient. Requesters that use it as a qualification usually don't get any better results than if they created their own qualification. Known scammers have received the Cat Masters qual while people that have Turked for years have not. It can also be revoked at any time, so if you do get it, you have to continue doing whatever you did to get it. And since no one really knows what that is.. well, you get the point.
Lol I was just replying to a requester who has a bunch up with that requirement. Was explaining to him basically what you just said. Kind of ridiculous that Amazon does not tell anyone how to get it specifically. Just for the hell of it I submit a request for the qual almost every day. Hoping they will get sick of me requesting it and give it to me. lol.
When I was granted it about a year ago I received an email that DID say how I was chosen to have it. I can't remember exactly what the email said but it was along the lines of maintaining a good approval record( currently have done 279121 HITs and have an approval rating of 99.8% my approval rating has never been below 99.5%) and displaying proficency and accuracy at HITs involving categorization. There is another qualification for Photo Moderation. Hope this helps.
Copy /paste. Same thing they say to everyone. Very vague, and many of the people that have received it almost certainly (although I can't remember specifics of anyone that got it) didn't have as high an approval rating as you.
I just requested for this qual and i got it...Now i can see his hits available in 1Lakh +...Done a couple and stopped...Anybode here got experiences to share bout with this requester named Praveen Bommannavar overall TO sounds just OK
I don't have any approved yet, but many people yesterday did, which is why I'm doing as many as I can before I need to go to sleep.
