My first ever mass reject, 299 rejections to be precise.. and a ton more pending.. I really did my best on these, can't really understand this. Also he rejected every single HIT and didn't accept any, so that's 0% correct and 100% wrong? Out of 299? Alright.. Blocked too to top it all off..
OMG I got a ton pending with this requester.... I am screwed if he rejects them... edit.. I have over 1100 pending with this requester...
That stinks - so sorry. I have a bunch pending with them too - not as many, but enough to hurt. I can't imagine that ALL 299 were wrong... and the block? Talk about adding insult to injury.
Contact him to find out what happened. It may be a glitch in his system. I hope so! I also have about 30 of these pending...
I'm hoping the same thing - that it was a glitch in the system. I don't have as many pending, but my stats can't handle too many rejections. Iceblink, how low did your approval rating go?
Wow. I've never gotten ANY rejections from them. However, I assume trying to contact them about it is futile. I've tried to contact them several times in the past about various questions and got no answer. My guess as to the 100% rejection thing - perhaps they have "gold" answers and if someone answers a certain number of gold questions incorrectly, their judgement can't be trusted and therefore all their work must be discarded as opposed to the requester having to manually go through each one to reject/approve.
Well i've got 40,000 completed hits and i was on 99.7% so it's only gone down to 98.9%.. I've still got like another 1000 pending that he's neither accepted or rejected though oddly. The block has bothered me more than anything, I think that's my 3rd now. ProductRnR, B.M, and him Seriously scared now I've messaged him asking about this and to remove the block but i'm guessing he's not very responsive. I think on his TO the first review states he "never responds" so i won't hold my breath for a reply.
That also makes your third block, doesn't it? If the scuttlebutt about the number of blocks you can have is true, you soon may not be turking any more. I think MTurk is exercising willful blindness by allowing things like this to happen. However, I'm not an attorney, and I surely can't afford to hire one (which is something I think Amazon is sort of counting on). I wonder if a sharply-worded letter to the Washington State Attorney General might help Amazon clean up their act. I'm really sorry hun. The three blocks rule is not official as far as I know, and I think they have to be within a certain time frame, like 3 months. I hope you get some sort of clarity as to what happened. l2w was one of my go-to requesters, and now I'm feeling a little sketch about working for them again.
Here's to hoping you don't get anything bad in the mail at 3. Your number of HITs completed and your approval rate should count for something.
I saw that HIT and though it was glitchy, the whole interface screamed "this is not the HIT you are looking for" I got a couple where the page was blank and I identified it as a blank page but that was all I needed to think "not for me".
Great, I've still got about 55 pending from the same requester. Going to be pissed if I get mass rejected.
I just checkd back to see how much i had actually submitted this particular HIT...oopz a 25 of em...Tht concerns me with deep anxiety *Prayers*

Hopefully my 99% accepted will count in my favour I'm pretty pissed off because I don't really think I earned the blocks I have, the ProductRnR one was a joke, I have no idea whatsoever who B.M even is (I didn't know when I got the warning mail and still haven't figured it out) and now this one.. Oh well.. Not gonna sleep well tonight, that's for sure lol
Well ProductRnR is a joke to begin with. I realized that pretty quickly and just stopped working for them. I've got 25 rejections in total, and 3 are from them.
Sleep. We may depend on this more than we like to but let's be real, if you loose this it isn't like you've fallen too far down the ladder... If you're Turking you're probably just getting off a bad fall anyway!
Wow that is really awful :-( I am so glad I only did 6 of these the other day.. they all just seemed too sketchy for me. Most of them the page wouldn't even load so I just said screw it.
