Anyone from INDIA got MASTERS these days? Came to know in last 3days many(Only US Turkers) are awarded with MASTERS, seems there will be no Masters for India. Most of them got Masters without doing all kinds of hits, some were only crossed 15k hits. Anyways Congrats all to them. Hope we(Indians) also appreciated with Masters in future.(May Mturk has changed its opinion towards Indians)
I wouldn't get too worked up about it. There's plenty of American workers with excellent stats that haven't gotten masters. Personally even if I did get masters I wouldn't actually do anything any differently.
i just mailed them 2 days back if i cud get the masters and they thanked me for my interest to achieve it and also said they give it out only when a turker does accurate work for a variety of requesters.Some indians here have actually reported being masters.So indians being masters is a happening thing.lets just wish tht d fortune hits us once for all our hardwork
I was going to start this thread. This is also my concern. Lot of masters from US. I never met a master from India in any forums. There are lot turkers from India who meet the criteria for masters. I think Mturk will soon pick good turkers from India and turn them into masters. Now hits are dried up for non masters.
someone here on this forum is on my FB and gtalk list...while chatting with him, a native of tamil nadu he said me he knws someone whose got master qual. and lately he bought a scorpio ride and has stuck a sticker "Mturk" on it
I heard about Indians that have Masters, but I don't belive them. Mturk add more masters because almost 1/3 rd of HiTs require mastr qualification, for adding more to masters will increase the speed of output. If jobs that require master qual increses, the number of masters will increse.
