MTurk Inquiries by Riaz and their Answers from Mturk Team

I was here. But was not active in Forum.....

 

Well, I think the forum itself is quite inactive these days...

 

I think in a different way.. What Mturk told may be right. Mturk will not give information regarding the Abandon and return rate.

But when requesters set qualification they are having a provision to include the return and abandon rate in that. But they can't see the return or abandon rate of a worker. So when the worker returns the particular hit the score goes down automatically. But the requester will not be able to see the workers total abandon or return rate direestly.

Another chance is Oscar told lies to avoid returned hits. I mean he does not like worker's returning his hits. BSe as we know in Oscar hits there are some cards which is not easily readable. So if there is no problem with returning the hits workers may simply return the hits.... It might be a burden for him...


I strongly believe either if these two happening with this.... Better you think and decide...


I think Riaz Bhai already sent a mail to Mturk asking this issue. We can expect more details soon..........

But anyhow, are you doing Oscar Smith HITs yet? I strongly believe that you don't, as I forgot Oscar Smith in the very earlier days of my turking. So why should we be worried about Oscar Smith HITs...? Just leave it.
There is other questions to be answered...

 

No... Never... I won't do that.... Why should I be my self a fool... Actually only a very few people got his trusted worker qualification... If he is having 10000 hits he will post 1000 hits for trusted workers. And all other just for .02 dollars. People are doing his hits for this trusted worker qualification. If there is no trusted worker qualification I am Dam'n sure nobody wants to do his work.... Especially new workers are the victim of this... Also some people promotes him as a king of requesters....

 

Yeah, that is all about Oscar Smith. He is such a douchbag who takes advantage from ignorant people. Even his 5 cents work doesn't worth doing. ...end of conversation.

It's too bad they aren't able to pinpoint anything, but good to see they're being consistent with the message. Saw one similar in a welcome thread and another mentioned the contents and seems to match both. Here's to hoping something gets worked out soon.
