Hi Turkers,

Here I am sharing some Mturk Inquiries that I made to Mturk Team and their replies.
May be helpful for someone here.

I sent a mail to Mturk Team about Tabbed Browsing and accepting HITs, to make it sure, is that safe to do.

So does that means if someone accepts and keeps more than 3 HITS, he/she is violating the TOS?

There are time when I did had more than 3 HITS accepted in my account ex. RER HITS. There is a limitation of 25 HITS for all the Mturk account. So is this violation of policy. We need more clarity on this.

Yes, I did accept 25 HITs at the same time. And we can't accept more than 25. If they put a cap only on 25 hits, what is the point in saying that you can't accept more than 3 HITs? Why don't they put the cap on 3 HITs instead? It's stupid.

Hi Sajeed,

Qualifications are some of the criteria created by Requesters to do a HIT so that they can make sure that they are getting works from the genuine workers and with high quality. For example: For doing the HITs from the Req: Real Estate Research you need to pass a qualification test. Some requesters will put none in their qualification. That means they can be done freely without any qualification. For that case a good example is Oscar Smith HITs. I will show you a screenshot that will tell you about that.

 

Riaz, I too have to say that you are such a help and such a friendly, positive person. I'm quite new to this forum and, already, it's undeniable what a positive force you are here.

Sometimes I have to return a hit because when I accept it says there is no more work but it keeps the job open. I actually abandoned a few by accident cause I did not realize these jobs were still considered open at first. But from my suggestion please don't return any Oscar HITs as that will affect your Quality Score(Nothing to do with Approval Rate) to become a Trusted Worker.

This doesn't make any sense.
If those statistics are not provided to Requesters, what is the deal with Oscar Smith? Is Oscar Smith not a requester or does he have a special privilege? Or, does he own the Mturk? Perhaps Mturk is lying to you. But either way, you are posting bullshit. Lol

 

Im sure the requestors have access to stats like how many hits of THEIRS you have returned to THEM. But your overall return rate and abandon rate % stay private.

Why should I ask to Mturk team, if I knew the bullshit answers?
I can't understand why are you so concerned with the thread starter. I asked a question earlier in this same thread regarding to the statement "you are allowed to accept only 3 HITs at the same time". I never got a reply but I have proof that I can accept 25 HITs at the same time.
Quote my name again only if you can answer that.

Well, I don't have to ask that question to Mturk since they allow me to accept 25 HITs together. And I have no questions about that.
