Depends on what kind of HITs you like doing. I think Mondays are the best days for good-paying surveys, but I found a good one last night after 11pm Central time.

There are batch HITs that come out at the oddest hours. Transcription HITs filter in through the week and seem to dry up at the weekends. Editing transcriptions picks up towards the weekend. Writing assignments...I haven't been doing this long enough to know "when". I just know I should start looking by 8am.

Hey thanks for the info. I have also noticed that things tend to dwindle on the weekend.

Welcome! I'm a night owl, and I've seen some good HITs pop up in the middle of the night, so I think you can find them whenever you're turking. As said above, certain HITs (writing and transcription) tend to show up during the week, but you can always find others. One tip I saw on this forum was to search all HITs and sort by creation date. That way you can catch all the new HITs soon after they're posted.

    Good luck and happy turking!

It really depends. I've found the weekends to be the slowest time and the weekdays to be the best time in terms of actual hit amounts. I think it really depends on what your niche is. I've got the hits that I like doing but then again my average goal daily is very small. I only need to hit five dollars a day to reach my goal by the end of summer. Saving for a vacation to Chicago!!! The number one rule is not to exhaust yourself because mturk can be rather redundant at times.

Hey there, welcome to the forum.

I have this weird feeling that maybe college students are working on m turk on their summer break. It just seems like since graduation that there hasn't been as many hits. Maybe it's my imagination.

I do a lot of transcription hits. Every once in a while the Casting Words site will run out of work (or their live hits list will be down temporarily sometimes), which always makes me freak out a little. Like, omg, they've finally perfected voice recognition software and all my work's gone. And then they come back. Let's hear it for flawed technology, yeah!!
