Where I live we don't have many earthquakes. But we did have one last year. However, we have several places near my house that are rock quarries. So when I felt the earthquake last year, I figured they were just blasting again!

  6. the place mentioned there Bachau is the [Gujarat state of India which is quite far away from my state KeralaMy region aint probable to quakes.Whereas Gujarat is a zone prone to high range quakes and has witnessed heavy calamities in the past...The tremor here was the slightest still it just shook up the people !!!

Never had one while turking, in fact I've only felt one once before and it was the one in Virginia last year. I felt it in North Carolina on the second floor of our home. It wasn't anything more than vibration in the floor for us.

    Very cool.

Yes! I felt it too! My friend and I were on a boat in Lake Michigan! The tremors were so powerful that our boat fell over and we were swept away by an angry and turbulent lake! Luckily, we both managed to spot a deserted island we both swam to safety. In order to survive we had to eat raw bird(s) and bugs! A helicopter found us later that night!

That's the one we had here in Pa, Pwt. To this day I still wouldn't be able to tell the difference between that and a rock blast!

Sometimes nature has to smack you down and put you in your place. That's why I live in a place where we don't get earthquakes, tornadoes or other natural disasters. It's all sunshine here :)
