Just got smacked with a reject from IQ Crowd, something about "teach your kid words using pictures" or some such crap. Their excuse was: "Something is wrong with your submission." That's it. No other reason. Yeah, something's wrong, all right - I picked their HIT to work with. Thank God I only did one. I know a picture of a receipt when I see one, I don't have to have my hand held.... sheesh. I requested a reversal, but I don't expect to get one. As I said, thank God I only did one. They had over 700 of them up. Now I know why. Grrrr.

I've read before that a substantial amount of Amazons earnings comes from interest on the money they hold. They are notorious slow payers. I have a marketplace account as well and it can take up to a few weeks to get paid after you sell something there. So it's hard to say what is going on.

weird. until friday, my payments balance was always only behind my total earnings in turk by around $5-$10, so everything was reverting to 'paid' pretty fast, which i thought was really good, as i'd heard that sometimes stuff got stuck in 'pending payment' for a while. oh well, i'll see what happens tomorrow...
