FoodEssentials Q&A Thread

Discussion in 'Requesters' started by roon83, Jul 1, 2013.

  1. Yea, that's what I've been doing.

  2. That's exactly correct - keep up the great work!

  3. That last batch was a little different. Thanks for including the examples, they were very helpful! Are you planning on putting any more HITs up today, FoodEssentials?

  4. You're very welcome - we're glad they helped!

This will be our only batch for today.

Whether you're celebrating America's independence tomorrow, or just waking up to another Thursday, we hope you have a great time!

We'll be back with more hits soon...

I've tried three different hits off these batches today - I am not able to type in the box. I've had to return each of them - and I've emailed about them. I also tried Chrome and Firefox.

    Any suggestions?

EDIT: I'm an idiot - carry on :)

What should we do if the serving size is:

    1) 1 bottle or 1 cookie?
    2) 1/2 gram?

    And furthermore:

You could really optimize these HITs by not loading any of the larger images until the worker clicks on a thumbnail.

There’s a 1:4, 1:5 or lesser chance that you loaded the correct enlargement by default - and these things are really dragging.

    =====

Some of these energy bars have more vitamins than you allow for. One has Vitamin K and Iodine, which I am not seeing in your list.

For the new types of FE hits, where logos are chosen: does the labeling of "gluten free" without any sort of logo count as a certification?

Would be really helpful if there was a list of each symbol and what it means. Example: all natural, is there a symbol or logo for that?
I have looked at the examples given, but still have a lot of questions.

  14. I haven't been including it if there isn't a logo.

I don't think there is a logo for all natural. I am a bit iffy on this one though. It is possible it can go under specialty or other logo though. I would like to see some more examples for those categories.

I also have a question about the recycle logo. Should we be including it and if so, what category would it go under?

I wondered about the recycle also. On the gluten free, there is one that says "other gluten free logos", I have been marking that if it says gluten free. But I really don't know that's right or not.
Kinda looks like we are having to use our judgement.

It is not possible to read the nutritional facts as it is very small. Please enlarge the image or give us a tool to enlarge it if needed.

That's true. The nutritional facts is too blurry to read. Clicking on the thumpnail is also not working.

How you guys doing these hits? Something I'm missing here? somebody help.

I think the others were larger. What is left now are very different. The others were actual pictures taken of the products. I don't think anyone has been able to make these last ones out.

    Friends, please clear my doubt.

    Net Wt 8 oz(226g)
    Serving size 1/4 cup (25g)
    Servings per container about 8

    How to fill this?

    Servings per container about 8

    Serve size 1. 25g
    Serve size 2. 8 0z or 226g
    Serves per pack 8
    description 1 container

    Is it right?

It is my understanding of the directions that you would enter 25g as the first size and put 0.25 cup for Serve size 2. 8 oz or 226g is the total weight of the container and not an individual serving. I would enter 8 for the Serves per pack line. I would not put anything for the description line either because 1 container represents all of the servings combined, not one serving.

I hope that makes sense and feel free anyone to correct me if I'm wrong.
