I tried searching but people mention the term daily goal a lot, so all kind of stuff was coming up. Thought it would be nice to have it one thread so everyone could compare, and might help new turkers out so they get an idea of strategy. So what is your daily goal? do you try to do it in 7 days, or five days? Is it a weekly goal, instead of daily? Do you stop if you hit it, or keep going if your on a roll. How long does it usually take you to get there?
M-F $30+ daily .....Sat+sun$30+ combined. Rarely stop if I hit my goals. Goals are mainly to push me on them days I need to set my sights on something.
Depends on whats available that day. I might hit $30+ in 3 hours or so crankin along or I might spend 10 hours that day on and off to hit my goal. This is roughly what an average week looks like. Some are better some are worse.
I turk sporadically. The most I have made was 28 bucks, I just do it while watching netflix. I am real happy if I can get $10 bucks in a day, but don't really have a goal, but thinking about setting one.
My goal is $10 a day. I almost always go well over that, but I work a full time, 55+ hour a week job so I set my goal low. I do have the luxury of being able to turk for a majority of my shift at work.
$10/hour. I always make that or more, because if there's really nothing that will get me there right then, I probably should be using the time to do non-Turk things (moneymaking or not) anyway. That's a more useful standard for me personally, just because I don't Turk full-time. But I guess you could say that my total $ goal for the day is however many hours I intend to Turk, x $10 each. Sometimes, I get interrupted in the middle with non-Turking stuff, which is OK; usually I do HITs that have deadlines long enough that I can deal with that and get back to the HITs.
$5 a day, but like others have mentioned I usually go over that. I'm a full time student so somedays I stop at my goal.
I'm picturing you as Homer Simpson at the nuclear power plant, turking away while stuff melts down that shouldn't ;-)
My record is about $30~ for 1 day.. But I try to aim for no less than $1 but avg $3-$5. (Granted I do have a full-time job too!) It just a grind to a new MacBook & Pay for Season Tix in April..
I only turk for about 1.5 - 2 hours a day. I try for $20. I've been able to do that fairly easily recently, but it was a challenge early on. They way I look at it is any money I make while watching TV or making dinner is money I didn't have the day before. Yes, I want to get paid well, but I didn't start turking thinking I was going to make my fortune. It's pretty much lived up to exactly what I thought it would be. I had no out of pocket Christmas expenses and I've been able to coast us through to the next paycheck with this, so I'm good with anything.
This should be attainable. I haven't read the rest of this thread, but some people here do that in less than a wekk.
I've only been turking for a month. I'm not very busy at work so I started doing hits at work with a goal of 5 dollars a day, but last week by hours were cut to 5 hours a day from full time, so I'm looking to make my goal 30 dollars to help compensate for my cut hours.... last few days I've made 20 so I'm getting there. Still learning about the good requesters and good batch hits. THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO POSTS IN THE GREATEST HITS thread. You're all awesome I'm learning a lot just reading the posts
Awesome! I understand where you're coming from. I'm using it to supplement work too. How are you staying at 20? Have any tips?
