Is this a new requester? If not, does anyone have any experience working for them?

Be careful only a 30 second timer

    I think transgender.
If they have no TO then they most likely are. These look easy though. I'm going to take a break from the Slees and try them out

If it was asking sex, intersex(please don't use the term 'hermaphrodite'; it's offensive). If it was asking gender, there are a few options: genderqueer, agender, etc. I myself am genderfluid, and I always appreciate the rare survey makers who provide a third option in the gender question.

'Transgender' only applies in that case if you're outside the gender and/or sex binary... most trans people are physically one or the other, even if only because of the horrid practice of surgically altering unusual genitalia at birth.

Precisely what it sounds like. My gender identity is fluid. This kind of sucks because I also have body dysphoria, so sometimes I really really hate my body and feel like I'm in the wrong one, and sometimes I don't. It also makes navigating our heavily binary-gendered society confusing as hell. And then of course people disrespect my identity, and even though I'm used to it, it never really stops hurting.

Also, I have no idea what the hell to do on these instructor HITs. Where do I find instructor info?! Google ain't turning up shit.

  11. After doing so many Rubin HITs using the trackpad on my macbook:

... What part of the hermaphrodite is offensive?
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermaphrodite
It's roots don't come from any type of offensive slang term. If you take offense to it than I'm sorry you're so ridiculously sensitive but I just don't get it.

    Also The Rubin instructor HITS:
Google, School Name, Class schedule 2013
    find the class--> teachers names
school name faculty list ---> should have the emails.

  13. Who is this Jack fellow and why does he want me to buy him a cup of coffee?

Um, no. Actual intersex people find it offensive as well. It's stigmatizing and dehumanizing. Of course some intersex people have reclaimed it for themselves, but no, it's not acceptable. Thankyou. http://www.isna.org/faq/hermaphrodite

  17. Could I ban him for calling me a Sir? :p

I recall mentioning him a few days ago, but didn't exactly get the warmest response. Oh well.

  19. Just did 150 of those "Identify the location of the house in which this photo was taken" HITs. I have a bad feeling I'm going to get a lot of rejections...
