I'm finding some really poor quality course work in this batch. Info provided from a 2009 syllabus, a 2001 research document, a CSCI class linked to chemistry info, class info based off of a document for equivalent transfer courses between colleges (and they used the wrong school's course name/#)...bleh.

On one I got, someone managed to submit a faculty page that had absolutely nothing to do with the course. It's almost like some people sincerely don't give a shit and just want to make things difficult.

It's just a combination of good pay and absolutely no quality control on their end. People aren't saints, and when there's no oversight, this is going to be the natural end result.

 

You would think that people doing the course HITs would end up doing the instructor HITs, so it's in everyone's best interest to make sure the course is right.

I just got one for Univ of Calif, Berkeley under Berkeley College...sigh

 

I'm sure there are a lot of people that do these HITs that do not understand that they turn directly into professor batches, so they just look for any way possible to find the course number. The directions are pretty vague on the HITs. I think maybe he should make his directions more specific so that the newer people are aware of exactly what is needed and why it is needed a certain way.

I mean if he isn't going to do a qual, he should at least make the directions for the course HITs explain things a little better.

 

Is it just me or did the slees go up in reward also?

 

pffft... try getting university of north carolina for north georgia college and state university, and university of kentucky for university of nebraska - kearney...

 

Anyone ever get a rejection for slee? I've never done work for him before.

 

See, I can understand that, though. With this, it was for an EE course, and the only mention of that was that the prof had a BS in EE. I honestly don't understand where they got the course number and name from, it appeared nowhere on the page.

Edit: and the school didn't even offer EE courses so I really don't even know.

Got one yesterday where looking for Central Washington University and was given info for George Washington University. Because when it comes to CWU and GWU, apparently 2 out of letters 3 ain't bad.
