  2. Thank you for the thoughtful reply. I hit the little thing to report that I thought they were wrong a few times and typed nice notes to them but I don't want to get blocked from them when they have up HITs I want to do later on.

Okay, is crowdflower quality control all over 60 years old? I just got hit with a "some of your answers aren't what we expected" over this:
Go Britney! This song is sick!

Of course, it's positive, so I clicked positive. They said it was negative. So I hit not fair and explained why they are wrong and I am once again, correct.

I have the latest version of Chrome and Javascript enabled. I see there is a Java update though. Maybe that will fix it. Thanks for the rewrite tips earlier also. I'm going to keep my eye out for some Matchett's.

java is not javascript. you don't update javascript, it's something that your browser just knows. that said, the implementation from browser to browser varies - things that work in javascript on many browsers don't work on Internet Explorer, for example, but usually chrome is on par with firefox, opera and safari. but i can't really speak to any specifics, i only use firefox except to run tests on sites i design when they're done, and i don't spend a great deal of time doing that.

EDIT: lol, jonna asher is approving these hotel reviews now, at a rate of like 1 per hour... THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME

You aren't missing much, it is worse than some of the comments make it sound.

I just got a nice comment from asher.
Description needs to be for guests staying at the hotel before a flight.
gave me a nice rejection too.

edit: at least it's a better excuse than yours though. even tho im pretty sure i made sure to write them for pre-flight people. ahh oh well only one.. (so far)

Hilarious! Game did take a beating in those comments. I had fun doing those HITs. The Will I Am and Brittany ones are mature and boring. But it's money so I'll take it.

Ah, I see so updating Java won't do anything. Maybe I'll just start using Firefox. I've been having other, random issues with Chrome as well and the very slight speed difference doesnt seem to be worth it for the performance as of late...

mine are usually pretty vague about who the hotel is for, and now they're 100% vague. the most i ever mention is something like "[hotel name] provides a [positive adjective] airport hotel experience", which is why i was confused about the rejections i got before, but i suppose if she was REALLY reading into some of the ways i phrased things, there's a possibility one might be able to imply that i inferred guests were arriving at, rather than departing, the area. still BS to me, go to trip advisor - 99% of the reviews for 99% of these hotels is about people from out of town either because it was at their destination or they had a long layover between flights.

chrome can be a bit spotty at times, now that i think of it, i have quite a few friends who have had issues with its handling of flash in the past few months, and i remember one site i designed had a serious issue with the javascript implementation, but at the time i thought it was due to css, not js. sorry, i'm just nerd-ranting...

Hi fellow Turkers, I just signed on this forum a few days ago. Today I had a HIT rejected by Bizsource M.G. I followed their instructions to the letter. I spent close to 20 minutes on a call that the HIT asked to be placed. I obtained all of the information as requested and I had never done this HIT before. The reason given was: "Either you completed this HIT more than once or you did not follow instructions properly." Has anyone else been rejected by this requester? I even documented all the responses I got on the call to make sure I didn't miss anything. I have sent requester an email as I know I did everything right. Any feedback is appreciated.

that sucks, i've never done any of the phone call hits because i only have a land line at the moment and it's nowhere close to my computer (even though it's a laptop and i could technically bring it with me to the phone), but i do remember bizsource didn't have any TO reviews until a day or two ago, then it got one positive review, but that's not really all that conclusive. definitely see if they respond, we've had a few requesters lately, especially newer ones, who didn't know how to do things properly on their end, so there's a chance it's an honest mistake on their part...

    EDIT: also, welcome!
