Hi everyone, I am doing research on TasteWeights a new music recommender system that we created at UC Irvine and UC Santa Barbara. We are really excited about it, and now we are testing several versions of the system to see which one works best. This HIT pays $1.20! Here is a link to the HITs. It may require you to add some more music likes to your Facebook profile, but after that it is a very quick and fun study to do. A note on privacy: As a university, we are required to be very careful with your data: we will not collect any personally identifying information from your Facebook profile. That's not only our promise; the university would fire us if we did that Feel free to discuss the HIT below, but please refrain from discussing the different versions of the system: testing these versions works best if nobody is aware of what versions are exactly being tested Also, feel free to post a link to the latest version of the HIT. I'm unable to do the HIT. I've tried it off and on today. When I click on the "check if your eligible" link, it takes a minute and then the page doesn't load. I get an error: Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): The connection was reset.
Just my luck: apparently the UCSB campus had some power/network issues which affected our server. I just tested it, and it works fine again from my machine. A bit slow, but it works
