Some of you in the 2,000 + Hits range, how hard do you guys find it to make $200. + a week though mTurk? If you have to pay taxes, and every week, you get pretty much a check stub emailed to you, could you use this towards financial credit as having a job? I think last time I smoke with a finance advisor, he said something along the lines if you have a certain amount coming into the account steady each week or whatever the pay period for 6 months, will account for having a job. So having a steady amount coming in, and reciepts from Mturk, then I could see it as a job towards credit situations right? I mean you pay Taxes?

Yes, as long as you keep the statements and as long as you file the taxes at the end of the year. I've been self-employed for years through Mturk and other avenues and I've used my tax returns as proof of income for credit for vehicles before ;)

$200 a week is nearly impossible if you're not in the US, so for us the issue is moot.

Actually, Maggie, the hits I do are open to everyone and I make well over $200 a week with Mturk.

There are quite a few US members in this forum so I don't see how the issues is moot for us.

By "us" I meant non-US older workers. Sorry if my meaning wasn't clear. And I do stand by what I said: if you're outside of the US, $200 a week is just about impossible. So the question of how someone from outside the US would go about doing it is moot.

Oh, last time I smoke with a finance advisor, he said, "Man, that is some good shit!" lol, but really...

What kind of credit situations are you wondering about? As long as you pay your taxes you are paying into Social Security, whatever that means anymore.

But, depending on what you are thinking about for proof of employment they could just want proof that you are steadily employed (like for a loan) and I don't think Amazon transfers will cut it. Could you be more clear about what type of credit situations you are talking about?
