I was just curious abiut this also, can't find a thread.. After your 10 day period is there a limit on how many hits you can submit a day? I know specific requesters may cut you off, I'm speaking overall for the day. Some days it seems there are tons of low paying but fast batch hits, so I am curious if there is a daily submit limit.. thanks
No limits after your 10 days. Maybe later on in the day, but yes after 10 days it is removed. It has to be 10 ACTIVE days also. I think 10 per day would be good, but you probably do far more. As for the limit, no I can do a thousand hits in a day sometimes. I wake up and start drinking coffee at 3 am, and up till 9 or 10 sometimes.
I'm pretty sure I have read on this forum somewhere that it is 3800 HITs a day! However, I have never submitted that many in one day, so I honestly don't know!
I have read in places also and it seems to vary between 2k-4k. I need to make some serious cash fast this upcoming 4 days and need to know which hits to focus on doing to meet my goal if there is a hit limit. I dont want to do 3800 .02 hits if I can do 3800 .08 or .10 hits ya know..
I have seen the 3800 number bandied about also. I seem to remember someone here hitting it way back when. Search for 3800 and you will find those old posts. Should you become overwhelmed with the notion to chase that number, you should keep in mind the following: 3800 HITs a day being one every 22 seconds in a 24-hour period. More quickly than that if you stop to eat, sleep, etc.
I doubt I will hit that number anytime soon... For me its a financial goal.. just trying to figure out the best way to hit it.. Its a numbers game and a timing game and requester game lol
As far as I know (from personal experience) the 'ultimate' daily limit is 3800 (returned hits included), no matter how long you've turked or the status you've achieved (stats). If anyone is able to submit more than 3800 per day, please chime in. When massive penny batches or other quickies are posted, it does become a factor. I've quit working on easy penny hits to avoid the limit, and I've hit the limit, then pulled an all-nighter to keep working on a good batch once the turking day restarted (I think it's 2 AM my time zone) I'm not too keen on the existence of this limit, and it has only fairly recently been implemented.
Thanks for the info! Yea I only want to do the penny hits when there is nothing else is up or to get my numbers up.. I'd like to focus on .08 and up
When AMT started there was no daily limit on hits. Since 2009 (when I started) the limit has always been 3800. Like mischa I have hit it a few times but I would warn you all to keep two things in mind. One, if you are doing penny hits the most you are going to make is $38.00 before they cut you off. Secondly, if you do not have a BIG cushion just remember that there have been times when "good" requesters have gone bad and 3,800 rejections would put even me below 99%.
