btw, random tip i keep forgetting to mention, solid state physics is not the same as solid state electronics, and the 'intro to solid state' course requested by rubin is for solid state electronics in electrical engineering programs... i've found that courses dedicated to solid state electronics are pretty rare, even in tech schools, so there's a good chance a school doesn't offer one...

I dont understand how A school like University of Nebraska can have a much better web site then some of these high dollar school.

Solid State is one of those I usually skip, along with machine learning and computer vision.

 

don't skip them... they're either there or not... computer vision, if it's offered, is almost always called computer vision, so that's an easy search. machine learning could fall under different topics related to artificial intelligence, so check some of those course descriptions, but most that i've seen are called 'machine learning'. same with solid state, search electrical engineering courses, it may pop up in course descriptions as one of several topics treated by various courses, but is pretty rarely a course on its own. if you can't find any, just write a comment about it and submit. no sense not getting paid for having spent the time to search. i've also been putting search links with my 'not found' courses, so they can check if they want...
