Can't Find Good HIT's? 12/3

I wouldnt post on that thread because havent spent any of my money yet. i'm saving it for.. um stuff i guess like new instruments/accessories, money towards school if i decide to go later in life and waste money getting a degree in music when i dont need it, books and that stuff, a new laptop, phone bill, etc.

also, yall (who cant find anything to do and have 1000+) should do those crowdsource wine hits. i am LOVING them. .15 for like a minute and i type slow so some of you could do them faster

Everyone talking about what they use their turkn’ money on. I’m out of work but stable and felling out the idea of using this as my main income and finding some mindless night job that will let me turk as I work. That would be ideal.

Yes. They have a separate hit thats moderating people's submissions so you might get rejected if you don't type everything.

I know this is off topic, but does anyone else's significant other give them a hard time for mturking so much? My husband thinks I'm "addicted" and I need an intervention lol

 

That's what I've been doing for a half hour with no luck. I've skipped a few dozen HITs. I just give up on his HITs. I'll take the $14 an hour from MedCrowd any day of the week.

 

Don't feel bad, I was on vacation last week from my real job and I spent almost the whole vacation turking. I'm sure my boyfriend thought I was an addict too lol. He makes comments how I'm always on the computer.

I think my girlfriend thought so but then she realized I was actually making money and she started doing it herself for a couple hours when she gets off work haha

 

I can do a chain of 5, 6 in a row where I find all the info in less than 3 minutes. Research is not a problem for me, neither is using Google, and I have many of the course catalogs bookmarked.

The problem I am specifically asking about, and it looks like I'm not the only one, is instead of returning a course that literally does not have a 2012/2013 schedule, what do you tell the requester instead?

I'm looking to help solve a problem, not pass the responsibility onto another turker and just leave a batch full of hard to find or impossible to find courses. If I'm asking the wrong question, then it's definitely my fault for not understanding clearly enough.

I know you didn't mean it that way, but basically saying "Just don't do the HITs if you can't find the info" isn't helpful.

 

YES! My husband throws a fit about it sometimes, but I just kind of tell him to shut up.

 

Since we're sharing. I'll go ahead myself. I have a job. I was recruited while I was in college. I work a "full time" schedule. The pay is very good for my age. Sometimes I get to work from home, I just connect with the company server. My mturk money has only been spent on gas, but I did pick up a few computer parts last week. It may sound weird, but I don't want to spend money I make at work. lol

 

I dug those wine ones. Also I am going to go buy some wine now.
