Yeah exactly.. The people that spend minutes of time just to return the hit seems pretty silly. If you know what u are doing and still can't find it then explain why. It makes it better for everyone. Someone will eventually have to do all these hits, so there will be an answer for it might as well do it and not return
Also I hope he takes it out of rotation rather than give someone a chance to post in the wrong thing. I learned real fast NOT to use the course number provided when searching. Most of them are wrong. And the help link usually has nothing to do with the course. I've even have them go to websites that have nothing to do with college, let alone be the right one.
I'm not clear on this. If you did not answer the attention questions correctly indicating you did not read the directions carefully, why were the rejections reversed? Am I missing something? I am asking because I got mine approved because I did answer them correctly.
It depends on how much time you spend. I would do a simple search, and if nothing looked promising within 20-30 seconds I would move on. Sure, that is time wasted, but I'm sure there are other people that are willing to dig deeper and find the actual info when I wasn't willing. I would rather return it in that instance than submit incomplete work.
1) Many of us recall the questions and know that we didn't screw it up. Don't know if it was a browser issue or what. But he told me more than half of the people who done it got the same exact question wrong. And let's be honest. That "trick" question in the middle wasn't that tricky. No way did so many people, especially long time turkers with outstanding numbers get them wrong. He admitted there was a problem on his end.
Okay, enough is enough. Someone give me the quick how to, on how to do Rubins. I'm in a good mood today and I want to make at least another 20 bucks today.
Ah I see. Good to hear that. I was confused as to why some people were rejected and some were approved. It was weird. Thanks for clearing that up.
For those of you wondering, JohnK does not reject, if you miss too many he will take away your qualification for his hits not reject you.
Forgive my ignorance, I'm trying to learn, but let me get this straight. Instead of: A - Returning a HIT where there is NO current information from this year or next on that course (e.g. EVERY SINGLE James Madison I have seen) B - Cursing the names of various Central American dictators I should: C - Post info for last known available course (even if it's been a couple years), say I couldn't find anything current, and submit? And this is approvalsauce worthy?
Provide a natural way of asking your tv to recommend something similar to an existing show or movie Crowdflower .10 ~1 min. Repeatable up to 10 times I believe https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchb...existing+show+or+movie&minReward=0.00&x=0&y=0
Copy and paste html Decent TO, not good but decent. If you use the shortcuts command U, command A, Command V, and command C. You could blow thru these at a decent speed. have to do 10 webpages for each hit. Pretty mindless. I like doing hits like these while watching tv.
For the Rubin hits, what if it straight up says the course isn't currently being offered? Should I return it or submit it with that in the comments? Sorry, haven't done these much
I just went through 3 Rubin's from the University I graduated from and I know these 3 classes don't exist because they pertained to my major. Seriously, wtf?
I got one where the professor was recently deceased. I got the info for the memorial site. I put it in and put a comment saying what was up, since that class hadn't resumed since her unexpected passing. Also had one where the TA email was on a different page than the professors email. Put the extra source link in the comment section, explained and submitted. Hope he's understanding.
Keep in mind I might do this 1 in 100 or more. It's not every other one. If you have a hard time finding the info often I wouldn't do the hits at all, I'd find something else that doesn't require research.
