Oscar Smith wrote me back and told me after you turn in 500 he bumps it up to .05. Am wondering how worth it it would be to sit and do that all day? Not much else going on except those bad ass $5 hits that I keep missing out on.

nah she has everything. cellphones are far to expensive. me and my wife didnt even have them. When we decided to get her a cellphone we all got one. On Pageplus to shave the monthly cost of owning them and now that we have everyone dialed into plans that work for them its actually very cheap. nothing compared to verizon and pageplus uses the same towers.

 

If the child learns to do this when they are younger, it will open up an understanding of technology. I used to teach at the local schools and some of the kids didn't have a clue about how certain things work even in this current society with all the technical gadgets.

 

Oooh I wish my 8 year old felt that way. She got a Wii when she turned 6, A ps2 when she turned 7...now they want one of those expensive dolls. Goodness. And she has been wanting a laptop for a while because mommy hogs up the PC .

 

Has anyone seen any Set Master's lately? They used to come on around this time...

 

Yes, it's best for them to learn about PC when they are really really small. My kiddo knew how to close out windows and browse kid sites when she was 3.

We all use Virgin Mobile $25 a month. I like them cause if something happens to your phone, they will replace it for free, or if the phone you have isn't in stock anymore, they will send you the next phone up from it. My daughter dropped my Triumph in the toilet and they sent me a free HTC Evo. Can't wait to break it so they can send me a Samsung Galaxy.

she has everything really. she ha a Wii, a DS, a laptop, 2 americangirl dolls, a smartphone. As far as being in contact she goes to school then comes home. shes really not into going all over the neighborhood. shes a bookworm . Also there has been a study that multitasking for children is actually bad and that this generation suffers from not being able to focus even when they want to. their brain is constantly looking elsewhere for more things.

Well.... I am glad my daughter is still young enough to be perfectly content with a cardboard box.

 

Is that a new Wii? Goodness I didn't know they were that much. My daughter's godfather god her Wii for her when she turned 6.

Ahh that's interesting....probably why I am on here instead of studying for my Spanish exam that's in an hour and a half!
