I've been going at the Oscar Smiths to up my numbers fast. Easy to do and takes me about 45 seconds per hit. Payment hits pretty fast, too!
Haha exactly! I did around 400 of them myself and I know other people here did hundreds of them. I think I saw one person say they did 800.
I've been doing crowdsource url rankings until they say no more, its a lot of the same thing over and over. But they pay either .08 or .14/.15
I did a ton of the license plates numbers to get up to 75, think I'm going to try to use the rest of my alloted hits for the day on higher paid surveys, since one of them is equal to the amount I can get from doing a ton of the 2 centers. Any veterans want to weigh in on how they spent there first ten days/best strategies? Thanks
I used to do 70-80 quick hits to get my numbers up and then leave 10 or so left to do some surveys because I'd get shut off between 85 and 100 hits.
Does anyone have the E-mail for the QJD group? I neglected to insert my mTurk ID in the HIT portion before I submitted it. I would like to contact them beforehand and try to fix the situation...
Sounds like the strategy I would use if I started over. I was focused on the money aspect and did mainly surveys. Reputable batches are great because they get your numbers up which helps in two ways: A) It softens the blow if you get rejects since the % drop isn't as bad as if it you had a low count, and B) It opens up more hits as you hit the higher approval counts. Reputable batches being the ones you always see, Oscar Smith, Redwood, CrowdSource, etc. Although I still have the ongoing issue with Redwood's security certificate.
Surveys were for me. I didn't find the forum until about 3 weeks after I started turking though. That was when I started to do numbers. I would focus on surveys, then wrap up your day at night doing batches to finish your daily limit. That being said if there is a batch up with $0.10 a HIT, then do those over surveys if you would like to. Goodnight everyone!
If you submitted the HIT, you should be able to click on their name in your list of HITs from today to send them a message: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/contact...FOMAEVK4ZU5W&requesterName=QJD+Research+Group
What I did depended on what jobs were available those days. If there are a lot of surveys, then def. do those. If not, than the hits are always good to lean back on. Sometimes there aren't many good surveys.
dang , these hits from the morning go fast. Trying the morning links at 8:40 pm and there are hardly any available
She said they didn't expect so many people to do them. I think she implied that people don't like CS because of the low wage or the cutoffs. She said that once you do the HITs, any of theirs, they send out email alerts of new batches in the future. So if you did do them, you should get an email about it and other batches in the future. That would be me, I think. I made around $75 the night they were posted, and around $190 the day after.
what do we do for dental practices which are obviously the correct dentist but which have moved elsewhere since the data we get?
