Definitely not imho, but I don't know how the requester grades them. A lot of what is judged is syntax, how "natural" something sounds, grammar, making sure homonyms are translated with the right words (eg one has someone's name as "Read" and the translations keeps incorrectly translating it as the word "read" and google would probably do the same), etc. Machine translation doesn't pick this stuff up.
Mine messes up the more I have pending. For example, my pending hits script works fine with only 40.00-50.00 pending, but when you start getting in the hundreds pending, this thing is crap. I will open chrome and firefox and they will both read different numbers just like you are saying. For example, one will say: Pending Hits: $215.00 and one will Say Pending Hits: $175.00. I learned just to ignore it, and just get a basic idea.
I wonder how they got that time. 10 seconds to search a name on twitter, get the amount of followers and url, and then go to the url and find their email takes ten seconds? maybe 5 seconds but not 10
probably not I've probably never met one either then again how does that come up in a conversation with anybody
yea it takes ten seconds when the person doesn't come up and you have to return it :/ but really, look at the reviews that person has. I'm scared to mess with them anyway they have a lot of positive but the negative ones stick out
I checked out a dozen of these the other day just to see how they would go. The majority of names didn't have an active Twitter page so there wasn't a link to their website and out of the two that did (which was exciting enough to compel me to accept those two HITs), they were in a foreign language so I couldn't navigate it to locate their email addresses anyway (and that was when I returned the HITs). Sadness.
yea and people say they reject if you submit it without all of the info. wtf they want us to pull the info out of our asses. I hate that. why not have us put n/a
pretty sure this is where the moderate a debate HITs come from...it's repeatable Write: Short Opinion to a Question (US) Reward: $0.15 Requester: CrowdSource https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=2E3PVP3TVOK507I17WYQIO0FZYY419
