I've been waiting since then...almost 2 weeks...to hear about the TT qual.

there is a pill the vet can give you which will kill all the fleas. just one pill.
or wash with ivory dish soap and let the soap sit for a min or two. then rinse. be careful with eyes.
i use frontline or advantage for my kittehs

I think you are referring to Capstar. We got a new kitty with fleas and that Capstar from the vets was amazing. Maybe an hour or so after the pill, the fleas just drop off. We kept the kitty in the bathroom to contain the fleas as they drop.
